III-XLII — EVERY SINGLE ONE [INTRO — BATTLE CONTINUES | FAST, TENSE] [MALE BARITONE — THIRD-PERSON] [VERSE 1 — STREETS] Della's riders poured through the breach. Rifles flashed from windows. Della circled once on Rook. Nothing left to strike. The enemy fought from inside. She landed behind the line, Rifle in hand. A riderless horse ran past. Della caught the reins, Mounted, Then looked at Rook. “Go!” [VERSE 2 — ROOK] Rook opened his wings. One beat. Two. He climbed above the street. Rifles appeared in a nearby house. The windows flashed together. [VOLLEY] Rook jerked in the air. Another volley. [VOLLEY] His wings folded. He struck the street among smoke and timber. Didn't move. [STOP] “ROOK!” [VERSE 3 — BREAK] Della jumped from the horse. Ran three steps. Stopped. Mischief. Sparks. Now Rook. Everything she'd carried broke at once. A captain reached her. “Della—” She turned toward the house. “Kill them.” “What?” “KILL THEM ALL!” [PAUSE] “EVERY SINGLE ONE!” [VERSE 4 — THE ORDER] Her riders heard her. Some hesitated. Others didn't. The first door came down. Shots. Screams. Another house. Hands raised too late. Weapons dropped too late. Della rode behind them. “ALL OF THEM!” Grief had found somewhere to go. And ten thousand riders had learned to follow her voice. [VERSE 5 — WRONG] A county captain shouted: “STOP THEM!” Nobody listened. Winter soldiers pulled riders away from prisoners. Fights broke out between yesterday's allies. Jack heard the shouting three streets away. “What the hell is happening?” A wounded man answered: “Della.” Sarah understood. “Oh, God.” They ran toward the sound. [VERSE 6 — COURTHOUSE] Della reached the courthouse, Blood across her coat. Jamie arrived from another street. He saw Della. Saw her face. Looked toward the courthouse. “Celeste.” He ran inside. Della followed. [VERSE 7 — SISTER] Jamie found Celeste upstairs, Still giving orders. “Come with me.” “Get away from me.” “Della's coming.” “Good.” “Celeste, listen!” Footsteps climbed the stairs. Della appeared, Rifle in hand. Jamie stepped between them. [HARD STOP] [VERSE 8 — NOT JUSTICE] “Move, Jamie.” “No.” “She did this.” “I know.” “She tried to kill us all.” “I know.” “She killed Rook.” “No. Those men killed Rook.” “She made this happen.” “Revenge isn't justice.” Della raised the rifle. Jamie didn't move. “I don't care.” “Della—” “Move.” “No.” [PAUSE] “She's my sister.” Della answered quietly: “So was Sparks.” [SHOT] Jamie fell. Celeste screamed. [SHOT] Then she fell too. [SILENCE] [VERSE 9 — TOO LATE] Jamie Lester— who rode north when Crown Junction wouldn't, who stood against his family until the final moment— lay dead protecting his sister. For one second Della stared at him. Then shouting rose outside. More shots. More screams. Her order was still moving through the town. [VERSE 10 — STOP THEM] Jack reached the courthouse square. Sarah beside him. Crown soldiers were dropping rifles. Della's riders kept advancing. “CEASE FIRE!” Jack fired into the air. “CEASE FIRE!” Sarah rode between them. “THEY'RE SURRENDERING!” A rider shouted: “Della ordered—” “I DON'T CARE!” Jack: “PASS IT DOWN! NO MORE KILLING!” Slowly, street by street, the shooting began to stop. [VERSE 11 — COURTHOUSE] Jack grabbed a rider. “WHERE'S DELLA?” He pointed. “Courthouse.” The doors stood open. Then a shot rang out inside. [SHOT] Another. [SHOT] Jack froze. “Della.” But her order still lived. “Every single one.” Men repeated it who hadn't heard her say it. Jack turned from the courthouse. There were still people he could save. “CEASE FIRE!” Sarah joined him. “THE FIGHT IS OVER!” Slowly, one rifle at a time, the killing stopped. [OUTRO — INSIDE] Beyond the courthouse doors, Della stood alone. Two bodies at her feet. Her rifle hung from one hand. Celeste was dead. Jamie was dead. The Iron Chair was hers. Crown Junction was hers. Everything men had murdered each other to possess. Della looked at none of it. Mischief. Sparks. Rook. Gone. Outside, Jack and Sarah fought to stop an order that no longer needed the woman who gave it. Inside, Della stood over the dead. No tears. No anger. No triumph. Nothing. [CUT]
