Warhammer 40k. Tech-priest and Sororitka
[Sororit] The glorious ship fell, defeated by the enemy, On this forgotten world, we are now alone. No communications or supplies, no one to save us, But faith in the Emperor will help us endure all. So pray more fervently, my humble daughter, For salvation now lies only in His hands. [Tech-Priest] The machine spirit has fallen silent, and this hour is bitter, But our future depends only on us. Find food and shelter, preserve the devices, And awaken the spirits within them by the grace of the Omnissiah. We can overcome all with ritual and toil, We will find the path back to humanity. [Chorus] Faith and steel are our path and covenant. The Emperor and the Omnissiah—light in the darkness! The flesh grows weary, but the spirit never yields, Sin fades, love remains! [Narrator] And everything would have worked out without squabbles and doubts, But the princess of pleasures turned her gaze upon them. She was so bored, sated, and insipid. The love of a saint and a tin can—now that's interesting. [Slaanesh] How wondrous this world is, beautiful as a garden, And with every breath a gentle poison flows into my veins. It teases and beckons, and whispers, and calls, And your flesh trembles, your soul sings. Your path has been so dreary until now, Know my embrace, accept my gifts. [Tech-priest] The days fly by in work and litanies, For true flesh knows no fatigue. The spirit of the vox is awakened, we will return, But my companion's gaze suddenly changed. The prayers are silent, and the hymns are forgotten, She is always nearby, her gaze so inviting. She reaches out to take my tool, And the bolts' threads strip in an instant. [Sororit-Slaanesh] Oh, my venerable Magos, let me help you, I know a sure way to overcome fatigue. Why always alone? What good is it? Let us both tighten your wayward bolt. [Chorus] Faith and steel are our path and covenant. The Emperor and the Omnissiah—light in the darkness! The flesh grows weary, but the spirit never gives up, Sin departs, love remains! [Tech-Priest] What a ridiculous embarrassment, like something out of a nightmare. And even in binary, I'm at a loss for words. Oh, these laywomen, these holy simpletons, She doesn't know a screw from a bolt! [Sororit-Slaanesh] Come to me, fool, live for yourself, In my dark embrace, your fate is sweet. Cast aside your armor, forget your screws, In the abyss of pleasure, you and I will drown. [Tech-Priest] In great confusion, I searched for words, But suddenly, like a miracle, she appeared in the camp. This is my lucky day, and this is no joke! In her hands, a TET-powered meat grinder! [Sororit-Slaanesh] All covered in leather and spikes, it's not hard to guess - The Drukhari has come here to fight off a man! The Xeno-Toadstool thinks she needs me more than anyone! [Sororit] Oh, my God, Emperor, I will atone for my sin... [Narrator] The story ended on a joyous note: The Sororit is a hero, before the Emperor. The Drukhari left, but took the trophy - The Tech-Priest became a lamp, but next to her He is kept in a museum, grumbling occasionally. And Slaanesh laughs, as always...
