Forbidden Love in Paris

[Verse] She was a white girl He was her world Ran from their hometown To the lights of Paris town [Verse 2] Coffee shops and secret nights Love under neon lights No care for the world behind Only love they could find [Chorus] Forbidden love under stars Clandestine in foreign bars Two hearts beating Feeling free In a city where dreams should be [Verse 3] Relatives came in the night Said this love wasn’t right Took him away Left him cold Her heart broke Story retold [Bridge] She couldn't bear the pain Without him life felt in vain In the Seine she made her plea Together forever they will be [Chorus] Forbidden love under stars Clandestine in foreign bars Two hearts beating Feeling free In a city where dreams should be
