You are My Confidence

When shadows cloud my heart, and doubts begin to creep, Your voice breaks through, Your promises I keep. You know the end from the start, Your plans will never fail, In You alone, my confidence prevails. Though my strength may falter, Your power holds me fast, You see my every moment, from the future to the past. You are my confidence, in every step I tread, Your holy faith builds me up, by Your word I’m led. Not in my might, but in Your boundless grace, You are my confidence, my heart’s eternal place. In Your name I ask, Your will I seek to know, You hear my cry, Your love will overflow. Through every storm and fire, when I’m too weak to stand, Your mercy lifts me gently in Your everlasting hand. You see my flaws, my failures, yet Your love remains the same, In Your strength alone, I rise to call Your name. You know the end from the beginning, Your truth will never fade, In full reliance on Your promise, my fears are swept away. No failure holds me captive, no doubt can dim Your light, You are my confidence, my strength through every night. You are my confidence, forever You’ll abide, In You I stand, with You I’m satisfied.
