[5]The Hour Unknown

[Verse] The clock ticks loud in a quiet sky The stars don't whisper they just sigh Is it now is it near Do I hold hope or fear [Chorus] Salvation is near Closer than the air we breathe The hour unknown But love won't leave [Verse 2] A thief in the dark with no footsteps to trace Time hides its hand no clues in its face Do I wait or prepare Is my heart stripped bare [Prechorus] Wake up wake up The night can't hold the day [Chorus] Salvation is near Closer than the air we breathe The hour unknown But love won't leave [Bridge] Put on the light wear it like skin Cast off the shadows where doubt creeps in The dawn will break it always does The hour unknown but we can trust
