[Verse 1] The road was hot with fear The chase was closing in Mecca’s anger behind them Dust on their weary skin In the night, they found the stone Thaur Cave, cold and deep Two hearts in the dark alone Trying hard not to speak [Pre-Chorus] Abu Bakkar shook and said “They might find us here” His breath was thin as thread His eyes were full of tears [Chorus] Allah is with us Allah is with us In the dark, He stays Allah is with us Allah is with us Allah is with us No fear can break What His mercy saves [Verse 2] Rasulullah turned to him And his voice stayed calm “Do not grieve, my brother Allah holds our harm” Then came a sign from above A miracle in the night A spider raced at the mouth Weaving silver lines [Pre-Chorus] And pigeons settled close At the cave’s small door They built a quiet home Where none had looked before [Chorus] Allah is with us Allah is with us In the dark, He stays Allah is with us Allah is with us Allah is with us No fear can break What His mercy saves [Bridge] The hunters passed them by Saw only still and stone A sacred veil of signs Kept that cave unknown And in that breathless place Hope stood firm and true When the world came searching hard He was guarding them too [Final Chorus] Allah is with us Allah is with us In the dark, He stays Allah is with us Allah is with us Allah is with us The feared and hunted day Turned away again
