Verse 1 In the desert, under stars so bright, God was leading through the day and night. Every tribe was counted, every name was known, Though the wilderness felt far from home. Cloud by day and fire in the dark, Guiding every step and every heart. When the road was long and faith was wearing thin, God was faithful through it all again. Pre-Chorus We wander, we fall, we lose our way, But Your mercy meets us every day. Chorus We're counted by grace, called by Your name, Through every trial, You're always the same. When the desert feels too wide to cross, You never leave us, no matter the cost. Through the promise and the pain we face, We're counted, counted by grace. Verse 2 Twelve men looked into the promised land, Some saw giants, some saw God's strong hand. Fear can make a mountain out of every stone, But faith remembers we're not alone. Forty years beneath the burning sun, Still the story wasn't done. Though a generation passed along the way, God's promises remained. Bridge Like Joshua and Caleb standing tall, Trusting God when others feared the call. When the future seems impossible to see, Your promises are enough for me. Oh-oh-oh, You're leading on, Oh-oh-oh, until we're home. Final Chorus We're counted by grace, called by Your name, Through every season, You're always the same. When the giants rise and courage fades, Your faithful love will make a way. From the wilderness to heaven's gates, We're counted, counted by grace. Outro Every name, every tribe, every story You embrace, Forever counted by grace.
