* The moon past my window As a cold night set in The birds are all quiet now In trees, they ,sit in The streets are deserted No cars and no voice Just street lamps a-glowing As I hear an owl's ,,deep voice I looked out my window As the stars shone bright billions of flickers In a cold frosty night I breathe my last fresh air As the window closed And the cat and the owl Watch for mice, that do roam The ,moon and the bright stars Shine in our sky I closed my curtains As a shiver came in Crept into my bed All snuggled, there in As I lay there dreaming Of the day that has been I wonder if anyone else Had just seen,, The moon and the bright stars Shine in our sky The cat in the alley The owl's big old eyes The lamps that do lead us The late ones, to home I'm off now to sleep In my dreams, I belong Andy.B 18.02.2003
