The break is up to whoever passes it on, I’ll say it on my own responsibility, This is fine, Rejoice, The first cut keeps the mistake inside and you drag the discomfort until you die, I wrote it in hiragana to leave room, Name Tag Talk, Make the subject clear, Tag the audience and it separates from black, Space remains after you stop, Explain everything and the distance of “oh, it’s a song” disappears, Even though it arrives through melody and situation, School is where you go to fall in love, If a kid who stays home hears it and wants to go, that’s enough, Say it straight and it becomes pressure, That’s why it’s a song, Better clear than a misunderstanding that turns into an incident or a dulling, But decide how far to make explicit and where to stop, Don’t compare me and not-me, Against Ito, Against Imagine, That comparison creates the sway, Kids are thinking inside that sway, It’s the singer’s job, Even if you declare you’re speaking for the lyricist, it still holds, Tick, Tock

[Intro - Whispered, Cold, Minimal] The ticking of a clock The trembling of a string A single breath Tick tock Tick tock In the frozen air A quiet song Begins to rise [Verse 1 - Detached, Ethereal] Close my eyes And all I see Is endless space Not a single star In sight Silent darkness Without an end Broken sounds Falling apart Echoing Fading away Metal striking Against metal Turning into Rhythm and light Floating Then disappearing Every single sound Becomes a particle And every fading echo Melts away [Pre-Chorus - Slowly Expanding] Between the dots Between the spaces Pale blue mist Begins to glow A darkness Filled with light No resolution No conclusion An endless world Of sound [Chorus - Swelling, Never Resolving] The sound expands The sound descends And breathing Carries on Pushing forward Pulling backward Loosening Spreading out Rising higher Never arriving Almost ending But never ending [Verse 2 - Androgynous, Mechanical Voice] Neither man Nor woman Every word Precisely clear A thread of feeling Thin as air Businesslike Emotionless A voice continues Cold and still But something In that frozen voice Is slowly Starting to change [Pre-Chorus - Warmer, Unstable] The pitch begins To tremble Warm vibrations Overlap Layer upon layer Spreading wide Never ending Never resolving Flowing onward To another sound [Chorus - Breathing, Pulsating] The sound expands The sound contracts A quiet breath Repeats again Pushing forward Pulling backward Gathered gently In my hands Slowly Spilling Slipping through Rising higher Without a peak [Bridge - Glitch, Distortion, Fragmentation] The paper jams The sound gets stuck Gah-gah! Kah-kah! Gah-gah-gah! Breaking Overlapping Shattering Stopping The voice The voice Is... Is... Is... Brea... Brea... Brea... Breaking... [Verse 3 - Fragile, Almost Silent] One by one The sounds return A faint vibration Of a string Like a ghost That never left I can hear it But I cannot Touch it [Last Chorus - Gradual Vocal Collapse] The sound expands The sound descends The sound Is spreading The sound Is shrinking Again Again Repeating Repeating Peating Peating Sound Sound Sound Sou... Sou... Sou... Ah... Ah... Ah... [Outro - Bare Clock, Fading Breath] The ticking Of a clock Tick Tock Tick Tock
