Moonlight hit the pavement while the city stay cold, Young dreams crack while the rich grow old. Mama at the table tryna stretch that pay, While billionaires buy islands just to fly away. Vacant little hearts in apartments with no heat, Concrete full of pain while the rich eat elite. Elite men preach peace then invest in warfare, Nightmares in the sky while they sit in gold chairs. Chairs in parliament filled with snakes in disguise, Lies getting sold while the innocent die. Die for a flag while the billionaires toast, Ghost kids in the rubble turn the silence to ghosts. Ghosts of the future in the smoke from attacks, Facts getting buried while they profit from that. That shit crazy, they call it “freedom” on screens, Dreams cost money now, even hope got fees. Fees on the poor while the rich dodge tax, Facts so cold make your heartbeat crack. Crack in the system got the whole world bent, Rent too high while they fund more threats. Threats on TV every night for the views, News make murder feel normal and smooth. Another bomb drop, another child gone, Then the world move on like nothing went wrong. History books filled with victorious lies, Never mention little brothers watching mothers cry. Never mention kids hearing gunshots at six, Learning fear before they even learn what love is. And it’s crazy how the people still divided by skin, While billionaires profit every time wars begin. Every war got business hiding deep in the smoke, And every “leader” talking peace still feeding the broke. I seen workers break backs for minimum wage, While celebrities throw millions courtside at games. And I ain’t hating money, I’m just hating the scale, How one family eat good while another one fail. The preacher want cash, politician want votes, Record labels want souls, corporations want growth. Everybody taking pieces out your spirit slowly, Then they tell you “stay strong” when you drowning lonely. I seen girls lose worth tryna chase validation, Young boys act tough just to hide devastation. Everybody want fame but don’t know themselves, Buying designer pain just to sit on the shelf. The world so loud but the truth whisper low, That the happiest people ain’t the ones with the gold. It’s the father with his daughter eating noodles at night, Still making her laugh while the rent overdue twice. That’s real wealth, not diamonds locked in safes, Not ten black cars with security by gates. Money can’t hug you when your soul collapse, Can’t buy real love when your trust got cracked. I think about soldiers getting sent overseas, Young men barely twenty carrying rifles with grief. Probably had dreams of becoming something before, Now they fighting rich men’s battles in somebody else’s war. And the kids in the rubble still covered in dust, Looking up at the sky asking who can they trust. While leaders in suits make speeches on stage, Acting holy while they profit off rage. Sometimes I wonder if the Earth getting tired, Too much smoke in the air, too many mothers crying. Too many fathers gone, too many souls numb, Too many people trying hard just to become someone. Social media turned pain into trends, Everybody posting heartbreak just to get comments again. You can see depression hidden deep in the eyes, But filters make sadness look good online. And they tell us dream big, get rich, move fast, But never teach peace or how to make joy last. Never teach boys how to cry without shame, So they bottle everything till it burst into flames. Smooth black coupe with the old V8 growl, Loud pipes shaking while the city look down. Down bad workers still stuck in routines, Machines replacing souls for corporate schemes. Schemes killing gas cars talking “save the Earth”, Worthless fucking logic while they build bombs first. First they ban engines, then they launch missiles, Diesel getting hated while nukes stay official. Official statements all fake and rehearsed, Worst part is the people too tired to curse. Curse all you want but the cycle stay vicious, Suspicious ass leaders acting holy and gifted. Gifted little kid with a dream in his head, Dead before eighteen from the shit that they spread. Spread too thin, whole generation exhausted, Lost kids scrolling while their real life rotting. Rotting in silence with a fake ass grin, Sin got normalized so the evil fit in. But somewhere in the chaos it’s still beauty alive, Like an old man feeding birds while the sunrise arrive. Like strangers helping strangers after storms hit the block, Like kids playing soccer with no shoes on the rocks. That’s humanity, that’s the part giving hope, Knowing goodness still exists beneath the smoke. Even when the system corrupt and the lies run deep, There’s still real souls waking up from sleep. I wanna see a world where the poor feel safe, Where a child can dream without war in the way. Where schools get funding before missiles and guns, Where peace matter more than who richer or strong. Maybe then the world would breathe slower at night,
