Verse 1 Well, he was just a beast, Tall as a tree, And the hair on his back Went down to his knees. So how could I dance with another, When I saw him standing there? Chorus Well, my boots went boom, When I caught his stare, And my heart went “zoom,” ’Cause Bigfoot was there. So how could I scream for my mother, When I saw him standing there? Bridge Well, my mind went ooooh, As he stomped through the square. And I held my breath, ’Cause the smell filled the air. Verse 2 Well, we danced through the park, And he crushed the swings, And the marching band ran When he snapped their strings. So how could I laugh at another, When I saw him standing there? Chorus (repeat) Well, my boots went boom, When I caught his stare, And my heart went “zoom,” ’Cause Bigfoot was there. So how could I scream for my mother, When I saw him standing there? Bridge (again, bigger) Well, my mind went ooooh, When he roared at the crowd. And the trees bent low, Like they all took a bow. Final Verse Well, I’ll never forget, That parade that day, When a fur-covered giant Stole the whole cliché. So how could I dance with another, When I saw him standing there? Outro (chant-style) Yes, Bigfoot standing there… Bigfoot standing there… Bigfoot standing theeeere
