[Verse] The day that I got saved Jesus put His arms around me and He held on tight Then He took me by the hand and said "It's time Time to let go of all the sin in your life" [Chorus] And showed me the way to the altar And said "Just kneel down and pray Tell me all that's on your mind Every sin that you carry will now be swept away" [Verse] And a calmness came over me And I felt His arms and hands release me as I journeyed back to my seat What a wonderful feeling it was to know that Jesus is in my heart [Chorus] And showed me the way to the altar And said "Just kneel down and pray Tell me all that's on your mind Every sin that you carry will now be swept away" [Verse] The day that I got saved Jesus put His arms around me and He held on tight Then He took me by the hand and said "It's time Time to let go of all the sin in your life" [Chorus] And showed me the way to the altar And said "Just kneel down and pray Tell me all that's on your mind Every sin that you carry will now be swept away"by Tina stellwag
