"Duke Nukem King of the Ashes"
Verse 1: Neon bleeds red through the corpse of LA, Duke’s boots crush skulls where the weak pray. Pig cops snort, aliens gnaw the remains, He grins through the ash, but the grin’s got chains. Hail to the King—now a funeral chant, A one-man war where the hero’s the ant. Pre-Chorus: “Come get some!”—the void fires back, His shotgun’s the sermon, the streets his cracked altar. Chorus: King of the kill, world’s a funeral pyre, Judge, jury, curse in a crossfire. Last laugh’s a scar in a dead man’s will, Duke Nukem’s roaring… but the roar’s hollowed steel. Ash in his veins, dust in his eyes, He’ll shoot the sun down if it dares to rise. Verse 2: The hive queen’s throne’s built on subway bones, Duke cracks her spine with a kick, “Groovy” he groans. His soul’s a spent shell, but the guns still preach, A comet of vengeance no heaven can reach. Bridge: “Damn, I’m good,” he tells the rot, But the stars he saved forgot. “Game over?” Hell, Duke is the bomb— A ghost who outlived the applause. Chorus: King of the kill, throne’s a cracked mirage, Eats bullets for breakfast, spits ‘em as carnage. The end’s just a lie he reloads at dawn, Duke Nukem’s alive… but alive’s just the gun. Outro: “Ain’t got time to die,” he snarls to the void, Cocks his iron, fades where the flames are deployed.
