I try and look at the bright side, although I really don't know what to think these days. I don't really know what's real or fake. Everything just seems a little more strange with every day that fades, the lies and deception unraveling right in front of our faces, its just too much for most of us to take, so we scroll up up and away, back to our happy place, online feeling cool and safe, who needs a real life anyway, fighting day after day did you know that since creation, we have been at war. And what is it that we are even fighting for, we have everything we could ever want and even more. But it just never seems enough when we devide it all up, does everyone really deserve so much, surelly some of us deserve a little bit more, equality takes from the rich and makes us all poor, if money is what we value, then money is all we are worth, equality steals our identities and the roles which we were born for, when the lines get blurred whe don't know which direction to go anymore, there are those that bask in the light as they watch the world burn. There are those that got burned and now spitefully wish and pray that others get cought in the flame, there are those that wear scars of wounds that left them chared, they shut the world out as they burn only a candles flame in the dark, they wont stub thier toes, they dont wish you no harm, they just keep their heads down, look straight ahead, never look back, they only see the pitch black from their front porches where they stand at. From above it looks like billions of candles burning at a midnight mass, tiny lights with darkness all around, one by one they slowly burn out... and then there are those who's light burns from within, they burn so bright that others ignite and as the light spreads the darkness dies a slow death, so where are all the other light barers at, with their light sabers and their jetpacks, have they flown off and left us here in the dark, or are they on their way back, all we need is a spark, open your eyes and peer into the pitch black, you dont have to look far, just open your heart and look inside, that is where you will find the light at, that is your light to shine back, it is a reflection of where your heart is at, your light will shine when you see yourself staring back through glass eyes where the light refracts Yeah Come on now Can we make it back to the brighter side Oh come on now We can Make it back to the brighter side Open your eyes And look at the bright side
