Verse 1 I baked some cookies for Santa, Left them out by the tree. But he winked and said, “I’m hungry For surprises just for me.” He tiptoed ‘round the chimney, Boots covered up in snow— Said, “I’ve got a list of wishes, But you don’t need to know…” Chorus Oh, Santa’s got a little secret, He hides it in his sleigh. It jingles when he’s laughing As he rides the Milky Way. It’s nothing too improper, Just a sparkle, just a tease— A bit of Christmas mischief Riding on the winter breeze. Verse 2 The elves all whispered softly, Mrs. Claus began to grin, “Someone’s warming up the North Pole— Let the holiday begin!” The tinsel shook with giggles, The lights began to glow, ‘Cause Santa’s got that twinkle That could melt a mile of snow. Chorus Oh, Santa’s got a little secret, He hides it in his sleigh… Bridge So hang your stockings higher, Let the bells ring bright and bold, For Christmas gets more fun when We’re a little uncontrolled… Final Chorus Yeah, Santa’s got a little secret, But we won’t tell a soul— Just keep the cocoa ready When he comes to take a stroll. A sprinkle of temptation, A dash of holiday cheer— A playful, cozy Christmas That comes back every year.
