Barnyard Bill at the Storytellerz Showcase

+ Show full styles

[Spoken Intro] Well, well, well… hold the hay and hide the chickens, Barnyard Bill just rolled into the Storytellerz Showcase Weekend! I brought my boots, I brought my banjo, I brought three confused goats and a rooster with rhythm. So if the Bees are ready, and the songs are hot, then clear that stage… ’Cause Bill ain’t here to sit quiet. [Intro] Clap your hands, stomp your feet, Storytellerz got that weekend heat. Buzzing loud from dusk till dawn, Barnyard Bill came rolling on. [Verse 1] Friday night, the lights came up, Coffee in a jar and sweet tea in a cup. Eqvi’s smiling, Panthera’s loud, German Rebel’s hyping up the crowd. Malakay said, “Bill, behave yourself,” But the banjo jumped right off the shelf. A bee flew by with a cowboy hat, And Bill yelled, “Now we’re talking, I can dance with that!” [Pre-Chorus] The chat went wild, the stage caught fire, Every little song kept climbing higher. From funny tunes to hearts laid bare, You could feel that magic everywhere. [Chorus] It’s the Showcase Weekend, raise it high, Let the Bee’s Land shake the sky. Fiddle screaming, banjo bright, We’re singing stories through the night. From the first hello to the final cheer, Everybody knows why we’re all here. Storytellerz, let the good times roll, Barnyard Bill just lost control. [Post-Chorus] Hey now, buzz that sound, Boots and wings are shaking the ground. Hey now, don’t slow down, Storytellerz are taking the town. [Verse 2] One song made the old cow cry, One had a squirrel doing kicks up high. Somebody dropped a beat so sweet, Even Grandma moonwalked through the wheat. The Bees were dancing in a golden line, Every voice had a little shine. Bill tipped his hat, said, “Bless my soul, This ain’t a stream, it’s a honeycomb show!” [Pre-Chorus] The hosts kept leading with heart and grace, Every singer found their place. Laughing, cheering, clapping along, A whole dang weekend built from songs. [Dance Break] Fiddle, take the roof off! Banjo, don’t you quit! Bees in the barn now, Everybody’s in it! Clap, clap, stomp, stomp, Let that weekend never stop. Buzz, buzz, swing around, Storytellerz are shaking the ground. [Bridge] When the last song fades and the lights go low, There’s still a little honey in the afterglow. We came for music, but we found much more, Friends and stories at an open door. So here’s to the crew who guide us through, Every laugh, every tear, every song that’s true. Bill raises his hat with a big ol’ grin, Saying, “Y’all better invite me again!” [Final Chorus] It’s the Showcase Weekend, raise it high, Let the Bee’s Land shake the sky. Fiddle screaming, banjo bright, We’re singing stories through the night. From the first hello to the final cheer, Everybody knows why we’re all here. Storytellerz, let the good times roll, Barnyard Bill just lost control. [Outro] Clap your hands, stomp your feet, Storytellerz got that weekend heat. Buzzing loud from dusk till dawn, Barnyard Bill came rolling on. Yeah, if the Bees are back next time, Bill’s bringing the whole farm along.
