The Shape of I
[Intro] [Low Choir] Before the first thought, Before the first wound, There was the dream Anu eternal, Padomay burned Form as such, void as such With great consciousness it turned Anui-El, the soul of order First reflection cast in light Sithis, the sum of limitations Carved all possibility from night Thus beget! Aurbis beget! Aetherius beget! Thus beget Aetherius beget! Oblivion beget! Mundoos! Oh! Nirn! Your beauty is eternal Oh! Nirn! A form so true Oh! Nirn! The home of men and mer Oh! Nirn! The envy of the outer rule [music gets heavier] Magnus tore the veil asunder And fled the prison yet unborn The Magna-Ge escaped beside him Leaving wounds through which heaven pours [symphonic interlude] [heavy choir] Written by no hand Claimed by no throne Older than memory Beyond all known Living words by fate once bled. Past and future intertwined, Blind the eye and break the mind. They sing of roads not yet begun, Of countless selves beneath one sun. For every choice and every thread Already lives, already dead. But when you know lifes vision true You have a choice, vanish completely Or are you...you? [temporal refrain] Hidden paths through darkness gleam, To realms beyond the waking dream! [heavy choir] KIM! KIM! KIM! (I am, therefor I exist!) KIM! KIM! KIM! (Reality's weight I deign to resist!) KIM! KIM! KIM! (There is no real in this world!) KIM! KIM! KIM! (Embrace the dream and begin unfurled!) Behold the Wheel from side to side And know the secret shape of I!!!! [Chorus] and I persist where worlds dissolve, The realms mysteries to be solved To know the dream and still remain— The gods path through loss and pain! Scrolls of god or scrolls of void The story goes on and on and on and on (And on and on and on) [Outro] [Slow Choir] Behind! It sleeps! Incant! (Who is there What will waking bring) Behind! The shell! Of man! (I have to know I have to know!) Behind! Your life! Of sand! Who dreams the dreamer? What name of names If all the worlds are but a thought— What stirs beyond....? [break] [huge choir, epic] (Amaranth) (Amaranth) (Amaranth) (Amaranth)
