Real Battlefield Blues Day (Real Bish Bday Remix)

✺ Don’t forget to support the original creator ✺ ❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉ This project by Kaos0311 invites us to raise our voices in support of veterans in America, where the heartbreaking statistic shows an average of 22 suicides every day. Further research even indicates that the number may be as high as 24 per day, an increase from the 2022 average of 17 per day. You can read more details here: https://suno.com/song/d871b441-5bba-409e-883d-a64257393707 Big thanks to Kaos0311 for the lyrics from 🚨 22 Too Many 🚨, and my apologies for the confusion caused by merging two projects together. I just felt this was a good chance to add a small voice in calling for change. This is a profound opportunity to speak out and push for change. Every country has veterans, which means countless people around the world may face similar struggles. That is why we must join together and offer them the care and support they so urgently need. For my part, I drew inspiration from Cocoa Sarai’s project to create a blues track—a genre that has always held the number one place in my heart, though I rarely explore it here. In many ways, this piece feels like a celebration of the rebirth of the music that lives in my spirit. I truly hope it resonates with the message of the original song. ❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉❉ [intro – Slide guitar riff, dirty Delta Blues groove, 12-bar shuffle feel, raw electric guitar tone, stomping kick drum, walking bass, short fill-in lick, establish swampy mood] [Verse 1] Bayou fog rolls thick, but it ain’t hidin’ the truth, Every sunrise we’re losin’ more of our proof. Men and women bled for the flag we wave, Now they’re drownin’ in silence, diggin’ their own grave. Uncle Sam taught us how to fight, how to kill, how to die, But not how to wrestle with the demons inside. [short guitar turnaround riff – slide guitar fills, shuffle groove steady, band locked in] [chorus – Band swells louder, shuffle groove strong, call-and-response guitar licks, punchy accents, bluesy turnaround riff to close] [Chorus] Twenty-two a day, tell me how that’s alright? In the land of the free, we still losin’ this fight. You call it freedom, but it feels like shame— When the ones who bought it are the ones in the flame. Raise your voice, break the silence, we can’t look away, ‘Cause 22 ain’t the price we should pay. [guitar lick response – slide guitar bend, bass walk, drums shuffle steady] [verse 2 – Return to groove, slide guitar counter-melody, gritty fills, bass walking, vocals raw with slight growl, dynamics low but tense] [Verse 2] Brother called last night, said the barrel looked kind, I heard the war in his voice, ghosts gnawin’ his mind. Ain’t no headline, ain’t no ticker tape parade, Just another folded flag, another promise betrayed. We built a country on their sweat, their scars, And let ‘em slip away alone in the dark. [slide guitar riff, shuffle groove tight, band keeps simmering] [verse 3 – Add second guitar accents, muted strums, light organ pad for depth, vocal intimate but steady, slide guitar fills emotional] [Verse 3 – ;IGY6] Some wear ink on their wrist, that mark “;IGY6,” Silent code that says I got your six. It ain’t just a tattoo, it’s a lifeline shown, A battle buddy standin’ so you ain’t alone. When the shadows start whisperin’, draggin’ you down, That mark means somebody will turn it around. [guitar lick – band lifts slightly, organ pad holds underneath] [chorus – Intensity builds, snare shuffle stronger, faint backing harmonies, slide guitar weaving, bass locked in, vocal passionate and rising] [Chorus] Twenty-two a day, tell me how that’s alright? In the land of the free, we still losin’ this fight. You call it freedom, but it feels like shame— When the ones who bought it are the ones in the flame. Raise your voice, break the silence, we can’t look away, ‘Cause 22 ain’t the price we should pay. [guitar turnaround riff, band accents on downbeat] [bridge – Spoken/Growled – Strip down band, drums minimal, bass drone low, sparse guitar bends, spotlight on voice, tension high] [Bridge – Spoken, growled] I done seen the battlefield. I done buried friends younger than my son. This ain’t no number. This is blood. This is names. And America— You don’t get to sleep through this one. [guitar swell, drum fill to return to chorus] [final chorus – Full Band, Gospel Choir backing, shuffle big and driving, bass walking wide, slide guitar soaring fills, vocals powerful and full-bodied, climactic build] [Final Chorus – Full Band, Gospel Choir in the Back] Twenty-two a day, hell no, that ain’t right, In the home of the brave, we ain’t losin’ this fight. Light a candle, raise a hand, stand tall, ‘Cause not one more wolf gonna answer that call. We’ll fight for the fallen, for the living today, ‘Cause 22 ain’t the price we should pay. [guitar solo riff, choir swells, band loud, then fade down] [outro – Spoken with band fading, slide guitar licks soft, organ sustained, drums light brushes, bass holding low note, fade into silence] [Spoken Outro (Boudreaux)] Listen up… this ain’t just about uniforms and dog tags. This is about sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, neighbors. Veterans carry heavy loads, but they ain’t the only ones. Depression, silence, suicide — it creeps into every damn corner. So don’t just wave a flag and clap at a parade. Open your eyes. Watch your people. If you see the weight hangin’ on somebody, Don’t turn away. Don’t say they’ll be fine. Be the one who steps in. Be the hand that pulls ‘em back. [final slide guitar lick, fade to silence]
