The Joy of a Covenant Relationship with God (Thierry K. Mutombo) [Apr 2026]

V5.5

On Easter morn we greet with hearts sincere, Christ is risen, the words we love to hear. Truly He is risen, the Savior strong and true, His Atonement brings us hope and life anew. The joy of covenants with God above, Binds our hearts in everlasting love. Through every trial, sorrow, loss, and pain, His promises remain, His peace we gain. We lost our children, four sweet souls so dear, Tradition said to separate in fear. But holding to our temple sealing tight, We chose the Savior’s way through darkest night. The joy of covenants with God above, Binds our hearts in everlasting love. Through every trial, sorrow, loss, and pain, His promises remain, His peace we gain. Come unto me, His arm of mercy extended, Wherever you are, His love is never ended. Dark days may come, but Sunday always will, For faithful covenanters, peace is real. No matter the storm or what the world may say, Keep your covenants pure from day to day. Build on the Rock, become as a little child, In Jesus Christ, our joy is reconciled. The joy of covenants with God above, Binds our hearts in everlasting love. Through every trial, sorrow, loss, and pain, His promises remain, His peace we gain. Christ is risen, truly He is risen today, His covenant children walk the narrow way. In Him we find the strength to overcome, The joy of covenants — forever home.
