(Verse 1) If you want to learn cloud, there’s some things you’ve got to know, First up here’s some definitions, let’s give them a go: (Verse 2) Compute power means servers and machines, Not in your house, that’s so 1993. We’re talking about computers in the cloud, Servers like Windows, giving power all around. (Verse 3) Then there’s storage for all your files and DBs, Store anything, for a growing fee. Next we’ve got networks, connect it all together, Privately or open, like my favorite sweater. (Verse 4) Then there’s analytics to visualize your data, See your RAM usage, or find the best potato. From compute to storage, and networks wide, Cloud’s got you covered, with data on your side. (Verse 5) Scalability means to scale, allocate and more, Deallocate resources, as needed, we implore. Adjust as you go, add or take away, With scalability, you’ll handle any day. (Verse 6) Elasticity’s next, scale dynamically, React to changing loads, automatically. From peak times to lows, adjust on the fly, With elasticity, your limits touch the sky. (Verse 7) Agility’s the key, react and scale fast, Meet demands quickly, make your solutions last. Quickly deploy changes, keep up with the pace, With agility, you’ll always win the race. (Verse 8) Fault tolerance keeps uptime in our sights, Even if components fail, we stay alright. Systems keep running, service won’t break, With fault tolerance, uptime we make. (Verse 9) Disaster recovery, plan and design, Recover from disasters, both human and divine. Get back to normal, restore and renew, With disaster recovery, systems come through. (Verse 10) High availability, uptime agreed, Operational performance, guaranteed indeed. Calculate it simply, uptime we see, Availability equals uptime over total, naturally.
