So many years spent running hard, to capture every day, Seizing every opportunity, to work hard, come what may, Mementos of accomplishments, adorn my shelves and walls, But could it be, within this life, I missed a greater call? This life is but a vapor, that we truly cannot grasp, As Pastor said in church Sunday: The only thing that lasts, Is what is done for Jesus Christ, my Savior and my Lord. To waste this life missing that call is what I can’t afford! And when I think, from great to small, from first to final breath, My life my all, right from the start, until my time of death, Was made by You, is in Your hands, and blessed by You above, I am compelled to dedicate my life, my soul, my love. I must declare and testify, sing praises to the King, Though all else fails, you are my Lord of all my everything. And should I succeed in any way, let my successes be, In giving honor, glory, praise, only my Lord, to Thee.
