UNWIND [Intro — spoken] If you ask Jesus what time it is, He will tell you: The only time there is is now. The only time there is is now. [Verse 1] Drop into following The guidance within. Unwind from the self-concept, Unwind from seeking meaning In people, places, and things, In achievements and accomplishments. Unwind from the personality self, From opinions and conclusions About anything and everything In this world. [Driving groove — full drums and bass continue] Empty the mind Of everything it thinks it thinks, And thinks it knows. Let go, Let go. [Chorus] Unwind, Unwind. Release the past, Release the future. Let go, let go, Let go, let go. Unwind, Unwind. The only time there is is now. The only time there is is now. [Drop] Let go, let go, let go, let go. Unwind. Let go, let go, let go, let go. Unwind. [Verse 2] We let go of our grievances, Our regrets, Our worries and anxieties For the future. All in one shot— That’s the holy instant. That’s why we have to forgive, That’s why we have to forgive. [Breakdown — spoken] You don’t try to follow The script anymore. You’re so lined up with Spirit… In heaven, love is continuous. Eternal, Everlasting, It’s forever. [Driving groove — add layers, keep full drums and bass] The trying to control has stopped. The pointing the fingers has stopped. There’s so much joy When you release the past, When you release the future— Bursting joy. [Final chorus] Unwind, Unwind. Release the past, Release the future. Let go, let go, Let go, let go. It’s about time people are dancing. It’s about time there’s a celebration. There’s a lot of joy to celebrate here. Welcome to the real world. [Outro] Unwind. Let go. The only time there is is now. Welcome to the real world.
