Not much of a town anymore though. Place was dustier than the road that brought me here. And though the pack of wolves that followed me through the night was gone now, I still had that uneasy feeling like I was being watched by unseen eyes. But word back home was that a few outlaws took out a compadre of mine here, and a big one was still out there, breathing and free, and I was inclined to make things right. I heard the hammer cock just as I jumped off my horse and took cover behind a wooden barrel. His ghostly reflection in the saloon window showed me where he was standing. A low growl followed by a howl echoed through the quiet street. And as I drew my revolver and gritted my teeth Ready for what was about to happen, I felt a rumble go through me that I can only describe as: the wobble. [Drop] [Gunshot] (Bang bang) [Verse 2] As the dust settled I could see that neither of our bullets hit their mark. We locked eyes as we reloaded, and I could see that I was facing an outlaw known as: The Wolf. The beef I had was not with this one, but the West hardens you like an old saddle, and if the Wolf wanted a showdown, I was willing to oblige. His revolver was ready a second before mine but all he shot me was a grin. "Not here for me, are ya?" (He said in a low growl) Slowly, I shook my head and told him I was here for the big one with a few slugs in his chest. He holstered his weapon and nodded. But before he could speak again, A low electric hum came from the hills behind us. It quickly sounded like a hundred swarms of bees inside of a clanking locomotive driven by the devil himself. Our eyes grew wide as an army of mechanical spiders crested the hill and we nodded silently at each other. It was then that we both felt: the wobble. [Drop] [Gunshot] (Bang bang) [Verse 3] The lead flew while steel and brass shattered around us. Was more of them than we had bullets, but that wasn't gonna stop us. When the lead was gone we grabbed a couple branding irons some poor cowpoke left outside the saloon, probably after a night of drinking whiskey. We were finally making a dent in their numbers when I saw something That made my blood run cold. The big one. Not the outlaw I was hunting, no, But a fifty-foot tall steam-powered mechanical spider lumbering up from over the hill. The ground shook as it made its way towards us. Flame shot out of its mouth and steam billowed in soft clouds around its frame. Squinting against the sun, a silhouette could be seen riding. But I couldn't see the face. Either way, without bullets, we both knew we was in over our heads, so we ran towards the jail in hopes that maybe the sheriff had some lead stashed there for us. Not sure if the Wolf made it or not But last thing I can remember is getting knocked down, and looking up at a big man with a few holes in his chest But no blood. Once again: I felt the wobble. [Drop] [Gunshot] (Bang bang)
