[Verse 1] Fear thou not, when the rain hits hard When your hands go numb and your plans fall apart I know that walk I know that scar I been where the floor feels far For I am with thee, close in the dark In the empty house, in the broken car No need to run No need to hide I keep a flame by your side [Pre-Chorus] Be not dismayed When the night gets loud When the weight sits low And it drags you down I will strengthen thee When your knees give way I will help thee I am here to stay [Chorus] Fear thou not I am with thee Fear thou not I am with thee Yea, I will help thee Hold you up again Yea, I will uphold thee Right hand, righteous hand (Fear thou not) (I am with thee) [Verse 2] When the road looks long and the air turns thin When the same old doubt tries to crawl back in I know your name I know your pain I count the tears like rain You don’t have to fake You don’t have to fight I’m the steady voice On the edge of the night Step by step Take my hand I’ll lead you through this land [Pre-Chorus] Be not dismayed When the night gets loud When the weight sits low And it drags you down I will strengthen thee When your knees give way I will help thee I am here to stay [Chorus] Fear thou not I am with thee Fear thou not I am with thee Yea, I will help thee Hold you up again Yea, I will uphold thee Right hand, righteous hand (Fear thou not) (I am with thee) [Bridge] I won’t let you fold I won’t let you break I’m the hand that holds When the whole world shakes Through the static haze Through the midnight blue I will strengthen thee I will carry you [Outro] Fear thou not I am with thee Yea, I will help thee Yea, I will uphold thee (Fear thou not) (I am with thee)
