[Verse] The trumpet sounds the year is here A time of joy no room for fear The fields are full the harvest's near God's blessings flow so loud and clear [Chorus] Rejoice rejoice it's jubilee Our chains are gone we're running free The Lord provides abundantly Oh sing and dance in jubilee [Verse 2] Our debts are paid our captives freed His mercy meets each righteous need The barren and the broken healed His promises forever sealed [Bridge] Lift your hands and praise His name His love endures it's still the same His year of favor now proclaimed Oh shout His glory unashamed [Chorus] Rejoice rejoice it's jubilee Our chains are gone we're running free The Lord provides abundantly Oh sing and dance in jubilee [Verse 3] The oil of joy instead of tears The Lord restores our wasted years Our hearts will sing our souls will soar His goodness reigns forevermore
