Verse 1 Solomon stood before the crowd, The temple shining, strong and proud. Hands raised high beneath the sky, He prayed and asked the Lord draw nigh. And fire fell from heaven above, A holy sign of covenant love. The glory filled that sacred place, As all the people sought His face. Pre-Chorus When we wander, when we fall, Your mercy still is calling all. Chorus When we seek Your face, Lord, hear our cry, Turn our hearts and draw us nigh. Heal our land and light our way, Lead us back to You today. You are faithful, You remain, Through every joy and every pain. We'll bow before Your throne of grace, When we seek Your face. Verse 2 Some kings followed in Your ways, Others chased the idols of their days. Yet prophets called with voices clear, "Return to God, He still is near." Through every warning, every chance, Your mercy led the remnant's dance. Though judgment came upon the land, Redemption waited in Your hand. Bridge "If My people humbly pray, Turn from sin and seek My way, I will hear from heaven above, And heal them with My faithful love." Though kingdoms crumble into dust, The righteous learn in God to trust. His covenant will never cease, His mercy brings His people peace. Final Chorus When we seek Your face, Lord, hear our cry, Turn our hearts and draw us nigh. Heal our land and light our way, Lead us back to You today. You are faithful, You remain, Through every joy and every pain. We'll bow before Your throne of grace, When we seek Your face. Outro From Solomon's prayer to exile's night, The Lord remains our hope and light. Though nations rise and kingdoms fall, The King of Heaven reigns through all. When we seek Your face... You are faithful through it all.
