[Verse] He was born with nothin' in his hands No gold in the ground or silver in his veins He was poor but he was always good Wouldn't sell his soul but I knew he would And he went to war when he was eighteen He took a bullet and the whole world was changed Now they burn our crops They poison our wells And all of our children They're starving as well [Chorus] 'Cause we got no food And we got no water If they don't get here soon Then they'll all be martyrs Yeah And when he died You know he never asked for much But if you can Won't you send some food for Israel? Food for Israel Food for Israel [Verse 2] She was born with diamonds in her eyes All her life She's always been told she's beautiful And she swore she'd never sell herself But what would you do if your child was hungry as well? And she's got a son He just turned five His eyes are just like hers He makes her so proud And they gave him a gun and a uniform And they say he has to fight but he don't know what for [Chorus] And we got no food And we got no water If they don't get here soon Then they'll all be martyrs And when he died You know he never asked for much But if you can Won't you send some food for Israel? Food for Israel Food for Israel [Outro] And when he died You know he never asked for much But if you can Won't you send some food for Israel?
