Prayer for the Whole World

[Intro] [Instrumental] [Verse 1] For the one awake tonight, With a burden no one sees, For the heart that cannot find The words it needs to speak, For the tears behind a door, For the hands too tired to pray, Father, meet them where they are, And carry them today. [Pre-Chorus] You are near the broken, You are close to every cry, So we lift the hurting To the mercy of Your light. [Chorus 1] Father, hear this prayer For the whole world. Let Your mercy fall, Let Your love be heard. Father, hold them near, Every heart, every soul. Let Your healing flow Through the whole world. [Verse 2] For the lonely and forgotten, For the grieving and afraid, For the ones who feel abandoned, For the ones who've lost their way, For the sick and for the weary, For the homes where peace is gone, Let Your presence enter gently, Let Your hope keep holding on. [Pre-Chorus] You are near the broken, You are close to every cry, So we lift the wounded To the mercy of Your light. [Chorus 2] Father, hear our prayer For the whole world. Let Your mercy fall, Let Your love be heard. Father, hold us near, Every heart, every soul. Let Your healing flow Through the whole world. [Verse 3] For the rulers and the leaders, For the weight they have to bear, Give them wisdom, give them mercy, Give them hearts that bend in prayer. For the nations torn by anger, For the places lost in war, Teach our hands to build together, Teach our hearts to love once more. [Pre-Chorus] You are God above the kingdoms, You are Lord of every land, So we lift the whole creation Into Your redeeming hands. [Bridge] For every child, Father, hear our prayer. For every mother, Father, hear our prayer. For every father, Father, hear our prayer. For every stranger, Father, hear our prayer. For every enemy, Father, hear our prayer. For every nation, Father, hear our prayer. For every heart You made, Father, hear our prayer. [Build] Let peace rise like morning, Let hope break the night, Let love cross the borders We build in our minds. Let mercy move through us, Let grace make us new, Till the whole world is gathered Closer to You. [Final Chorus] Father, hear our prayer For the whole world. Let Your mercy fall, Let Your love be heard. Father, hold us near, Every heart, every soul. Let Your healing flow Through the whole world. Father, hear our prayer For the whole world. Let Your kingdom come, Let Your will be done. Father, make us one, Every heart, every soul. Let Your healing flow Through the whole world. [Outro] Through the whole world. Through the whole world. Father, hear our prayer For the whole world In Jesus' name.
