The Grand Northern Parade (VA )

The Grand Northern Parade (Intro) (Verse 1) Within the silence of the frozen plain A tiny spark begins to come alive The sleeping city wakes up once again To see the winter's magic soul arrive The ancient towers start to shake and ring The night is ready for the songs we sing! (Verse 2) So get you ready, raise the banners high Put on your coats and scarves of wool and gold The frost is dancing in the midnight sky A story of a wonder to be told Can you feel the rhythm in the ground? The joy is coming with a holy sound! (Chorus 1 ) Christmas is marching with banners and light! A thousand trumpets are shining so bright! He's finally here, guided by the North Star Santa is coming, he’s traveled so far! It’s a thrill, it’s a dream, it’s a glorious sight The whole world is singing in the middle of the night! (Verse 3) The chimneys smoke against the silver moon And children listen for the slightest sound A giant breath is coming very soon Vibrating through the forest and the ground Time is standing still, the world is waiting A glowing light is slowly radiating! (Verse 4) He’s coming down through clouds of crystal snow The stars are following his golden glow! He laughs out loud, he’s scattering the hope Down every valley, up every snowy slope! It’s a grand parade, a triumph of the heart The greatest day is finally about to start! (Instrumental Interlude ) (Chorus 2 -) Christmas is marching with banners and light! A thousand trumpets are shining so bright! He's finally here, guided by the North Star Santa is coming, he’s traveled so far! (Bridge - ) See the children's eyes, they're shining wide On this magic, diamond-dusted ride Not a sound is heard, just the holy wonder As the golden sleigh rolls on like thunder! (Final Grand Chorus ) Christmas is marching with banners and light! A thousand trumpets are shining so bright! It’s a thrill, it’s a dream, it’s a glorious sight The whole world is singing in the middle of the night! (Outro )
