[Verse] Momma, why is the sky so blue? Why do birds fly so high in the sky? How does God see everything I do? Why am I here, oh momma why? [Chorus] She said, let me tell you something That you better hold as Truth God made this world, just for me and you He knew you’d come along He knows everything that you’re gonna do Talk with Him daily, lift Him up in song And remember whatever happens… God knew [Verse 2] Many years have passed since that sunny day Been up and down ‘cause that’s just how life is Tried to be a good man Sometimes I’ve lost my way Dark days killed my hope but then I hear my Momma say [Chorus] Let me tell you something That you better hold as Truth God made this world just for me and you He knew you’d come along He knows everything that you’re going through Talk with Him daily, lift Him up in song And remember, whatever happens… God knew [Bridge] If you’re feeling troubled If your feeling blue Put your faith in Jesus There’s nothing He can’t do Ask Him for healing and love to fall on you And remember Momma’s words, that she told me in my youth. [Chorus] Let me tell you something That you better hold as Truth God made this world just for me and you He knew you’d come along He knows everything that your going through Talk with Him daily, lift Him up in song And remember whatever happens… God knew Yes remember whatever happens… God knew
