[Verse 1] Bought a bar of chocolate from the shop down on the street Twirling in my cheer skirt, looking cute and looking sweet Stepped into the circle, ready just to do my dance Looking around the crowd, but nobody gave a chance Standing in the silence while they stared at me in shock Messy chocolate on my face, I’m running out of clock Is it 'cause she fed me sweet things right before the beat? Now she’s standing laughing at my ultimate defeat [Chorus] Th-they need to hype more, need to hype more They don't see me, they're not looking at me, girl Th-they need to hype more, need to hype more They don't see me, they're not looking at me, girl [Post-Chorus] Hype me u-u-up, hype me u-u-up Hype me u-u-up, hype me u-u-up Hype me u-u-up, hype me u-u-up Hype me u-u-up, hype me u-u-up [Verse 2] She think that she slick (Yeah), putting sweets in my lips Trying hard to sabotage my routine and my flips (Huh) Rival looking petty, but I got my pom-poms ready Wiped the chocolate off my chin, now my footwork super steady (Lol) Step into the center, hit a high kick on the floor Now the crowd is screaming loud, yelling out for more Thought she had the battle won, left her in the dust Cheerleader on top, yeah, in myself I trust And I didn’t even stumble once for you Took the battle back and now I'm winning too (Huh) If you try to trick me, watch what I can do (Huh) Leaving you behind with all the sneaky stuff you do (Girl) [Chorus] Th-they need to hype more, need to hype more They don't see me, they're not looking at me, girl Th-they need to hype more, need to hype more They don't see me, they're not looking at me, girl [Post-Chorus] Hype me u-u-up, hype me u-u-up Hype me u-u-up, hype me u-u-up Hype me u-u-up, hype me u-u-up Hype me u-u-up, hype me u-u-up [Outro] Hype me u-u-up...
