Affirmatio Tenebrarum (Affirmation of the Darkness)

Ave Te Ipsum. Ave Satanas. In darkness, truth begins, No chains shall bind our will, We rise from fear’s embrace, To question and to kill, Old lies that blind our sight, We walk the path of night. Ave Te Ipsum. Ave Satanas. No master do we serve, No crown upon our brow, For we are free in mind, To truth alone we vow, With reason as our guide, We walk the path of pride. Ave Te Ipsum. Ave Satanas. No heaven do we crave, Nor fear the fires of hell, We forge our fate on Earth, In chaos we excel, The stars themselves shall bow, Before our solemn vow. Ave Te Ipsum. Ave Satanas. The past we will defy, No dogma shall take hold, The future’s in our hands, With hearts both brave and bold, For those who dare to see, The truth will set them free. Ave Te Ipsum. Ave Satanas. The serpent in the tree, Did give the gift of sight, And from that fruit we learned, To rise into the light, So praise the rebel's flame, Who freed us from our shame. Ave Te Ipsum. Ave Satanas. We stand with open eyes, No fear shall bend our knee, In doubt, we shall ascend, In pride, we shall be free, For in the endless night, We seek our own true light.
