It’s raining. It’s pouring. And sometimes— it’s so much, I almost drown beneath it. But the love? The love stays genuine. Real. Unshaken. I thought it was my brokenness that cracked the world open, but now I see— it was everyone else’s pain that I kept holding. Empath to the edge of exhaustion. Tristan gone. Jason gone. Both too soon— too tragic. And I ask the air, “Why them? Why that way?” I’m just a mother— a single mother— trying to build sovereignty out of soil and prayer, trying to live sustainable, trying to raise a daughter who knows the land before the lie. Sometimes I close my eyes and whisper, “Damn, 2025… this is what it’s come to?” Feels like I jumped dimensions somewhere between impact and awakening. Maybe I died in that crash, and this— this is the version where I survived. Because me and my daughter we’re still side by side. And I give thanks for that breath, even when I don’t understand the cost it came with. And then that big K incident— June 23rd— was that my soul’s way out? My reason to leave the grind? Every scene since feels like a movie I’ve been writing without a script. Loss after loss. Trial after trial. Grenades at airports, stories of soldiers and fathers and wars that came home to stay. Someone said, “Everything happens for a reason.” But I’m tired of reasons— I’m looking for the turning points. Maybe I’m just waking up, really this time. Seeing fear for what it is: fake. Seeing separation for what it is: a lie. Because living in indigenous— that’s the truth. Living off the land— that’s the way. Why we paying for free energy? Why we selling our souls to systems built on deception? Even the word believe— to “be-lie-ved.” They told us what to think so we wouldn’t remember how to feel. But I feel. All of it. The whole yin and yang, the storm and the calm, the fire and forgiveness. I’m not here to make someone else rich. I’m here to make life sacred again. Money’s fake? Fine. Love’s not. Land’s not. Spirit’s not. So here’s my wish: may we all wake up at once, tear down the lies, and rise, hand in hand, into our golden age.
