The Inner Script ft Elim

The Ten are still the Ten, let’s be clear on the fact It’s a holy requirement, a spiritual pact. The Father didn't stutter when He wrote it in stone But we tried to keep the pace on our strength alone. And that’s the problem right there, see the heart was still cold We were chasing the letter but we lacked the mold. The Law was a mirror showing every single flaw But it couldn't give the power to obey what we saw. So we’re stuck in the cycle, the struggle, the fall Trying to climb a mountain while we’re hitting a wall. But it’s a New Covenant, signed in the red, The Son gives the strength in the heart instead. It’s the same holy Law, the same ancient part, But now it’s a rhythm... right here on the heart. The Father writes the lines where the spirit flows through, Giving me the power that I never knew. Now I don’t have to wonder if I’m good enough to stand Because the Son of God is truly holding my hand. When the pressure starts to rise and the temptation’s at the door I don’t look into the mirror for the answer anymore. I can do all things through the Son who gave His life, Cutting through the struggle like a double-edged knife. It’s not my shaky willpower or my failing human pride It’s the power of the Father with the Son as my guide. He didn't move the goalposts or throw away the line He just held my hand... so His standard could be mine. It’s the same old map, but a brand new heart, The Son of the Father is the finishing part. I know right from wrong 'cause it’s written in deep, A promise He made and a promise He’ll keep. But it’s a New Covenant, signed in the red, The Son gives the strength in the heart instead. It’s the same holy Law, the same ancient part, But now it’s a rhythm... right here on the heart. The Father writes the lines where the spirit flows through, Giving me the power that I never knew. (He’s holding my hand) Yeah, every step of the way. (Writing it deep) It’s a brand new day. Not by my power, not by my own might... Just the Son of the Father, keeping it right. (He's holding my hand...) I can do all things. Because He’s holding my hand. Still the Ten. Still the Son. Written on my heart.
