Sometimes the Lord requires you To do something that terrifies you But if you trust in him, he’l give you strength To accomplish what he’s asked you to do On the other side of your obedience Is a place of quiet power You’ll find yourself remembering the old hymn Lord, I need thee every hour Trust him, just him He won’t lead you astray Trust him, just him He’ll guide you to brighter days When your fears and doubts Seem to want to bust in The right thing to do is Trust him, just him If there’s a part of you that’s holding back Afraid to heed his voice Just know that he won’t force you to change He offers you a choice But rest assured you won’t find peace By doing only what you want to do Peace will only come by following The plans he has for you Trust him, just him He won’t lead you astray Trust him, just him He’ll guide you to brighter days When your fears and doubts Seem to want to bust in The right thing to do is Trust him, just him Every day can be an offering A surrendering of our will By trusting Christ we can truly be A city on a hill Trust him, just him He won’t lead you astray Trust him, just him He’ll guide you to brighter days When your fears and doubts Seem to want to bust in The right thing to do is Trust him, just him
