[Ominous choir intro] [Verse] A stand off of armies... preparing for a fight. The Phil ess tines were daunting... Keen to show thier might. At the head of this hord... stood a giant of a man. The last of a blood line... corrupted by the damned. Goliath a beast... a stature of nine feet. He called out to Isreal, Your God I'll defeat. [Crescendo] The Jewish army stood in fear. How could they possibly prevail. This man is a monster. Born from the depths of hell. No man, would contest him... for fear they would die. Deliver us a warrior... AND TAKE THIS GIANT'S LIFE! [Chorus] A shepherd's boy... protected. The chosen fist of God. Clad in no armor, nor sword staff, or rod. Defended by faith. Will his aim yet be true. If God will stand with him, WHAT CAN... Goliath DOOOO! David offeneded... by Goliath's contempt. He channeled his anger... No fear of the danger He mocks our creator... By your leave... LET ME BE, HIS SLAYER!! [Verse] Permission was granted... on order of the king... A lion and bear... already felled by his sling. He gathered up his stones... this would be his greatest test... Goliath and David would battle to the death [Chorus] A shepherd's boy... protected. Go lie eths a fraud. With faith as his armor, his sling the wrath of God. Defended by faith. Goliath's laughter grew. Five stones he had, but his first throw struck him true! [Bridge] [Crescendo] To his back. The giant fell. But to be sure he was dead. He rushed the beast. And with his sword. He took the giants head. Chorus] A shepherd's boy... protected. The chosen fist of God. Clad in no armor, nor sword staff, or rod. Defended by faith. His aim had struck him true. With the lord guiding his hand, WHAT COULD, Goliath... DOOOO!! With God at his side what could this Giant do! [Musical outro]
