[Verse 1] I'm staring at the clock on the wall Waiting for the weekend to call Everything is moving so slow I've got nowhere left to go [Chorus] And I'm just waiting for the sun to go down To get away from this sleepy town Yeah we're running till the morning light Everything is gonna be alright (alright) [Verse 2] My friends are pulling up in the drive Finally feeling like I'm alive Turn the radio up to the max There is no turning back
