1. Blessed is the one who walks not where the wicked tread, Nor stands where scorners meet, nor sits where mockers spread. But oh, his heart is fixed on Heaven’s perfect law— With joy, he drinks its truth and treasures all he saw. 2. Like roots by rivers fed, his soul is lush and strong, Unshaken when the heat burns fierce, the days grow long. His leaf shall never fade, his fruit shall flourish still, For planted deep in streams of grace, he drinks his fill. 3. Not so the wicked—no! Like chaff they blow away, No anchor in the wind, no hope on Judgment Day. They’ll find no place among the just, the true, the wise, For God beholds the righteous’ path—the lost, He tries. 4. The way of sinners leads to ruin, bleak and bare, But love will guard the saint who walks in holy care.
