A Beautiful World in Flames
[Intro – Whispered, Sinister, Building] Red suits, golden dreams... A perfect world ain't what it seems... Beauty fades, and kingdoms fall... So why not burn away it all? "Welcome to Team Flare..." "Only the chosen shall remain..." [Verse 1] Step into Kalos, where the wealthy reign, A thousand bright lights hide a world of pain. Dressed in crimson, diamonds in our eyes, We sell perfection wrapped in pretty lies. Five million Pokédollars, pay your way, Only the beautiful deserve to stay. From Lumiose streets to Geosenge stone, We're building a kingdom to call our own! Lysandre speaks, and the faithful obey, He sees the corruption eating beauty away. Scientists working where the shadows crawl, One final answer to silence it all! [Pre-Chorus – Rising, Ominous] Can you hear the ancient weapon call? Can you see the greatest kingdom fall? We don't want chaos, we don't want war, But we'll remake the world forevermore! Oh, let the crimson banners fly! Our paradise is drawing nigh! [Chorus – Explosive, Powerful] WE ARE TEAM FLARE! Set the heavens glowing red! A world reborn from dreams of dread! WE ARE TEAM FLARE! Let the old world fade away! Only beauty gets to stay! For the glory! For the fame! Write our future in the flame! WE ARE TEAM FLARE! Through the darkness, hear our name! A beautiful world in flames! [Verse 2] Deep beneath the earth, where ancient secrets sleep, A weapon built from sorrow, buried far too deep. Three thousand years of history concealed, Now the ultimate weapon shall be revealed! Xerneas breathes the promise of life, Yveltal spreads the shadow of night. Two legends bound to a terrible fate, While Lysandre stands before heaven's gate. Malva broadcasts with a glamorous smile, The admins keep their secrets all the while. Xerosic laughs as the engines ignite, Five brilliant minds bring the end in sight! But a young Trainer dares to stand, With six loyal partners and fate in their hands. Our perfect vision begins to crack, And there's no turning the countdown back! [Pre-Chorus – Darker, More Intense] Can you hear the ancient weapon call? Can you feel our perfect empire fall? A paradise paid for with everything, Is it salvation if no one can sing? Oh, let the crimson banners fly! Will our beautiful dream survive?! [Chorus – Explosive, Full Choir] WE ARE TEAM FLARE! [Bridge – Slow, Haunting, Emotional] Lysandre... Was it beauty that you truly sought? Or just a kingdom that your fortune bought? You dreamed of peace, you dreamed of light, But lost your way somewhere in the night. A world without greed, a world without pain, Yet all your promises vanished in vain. "Beauty must remain eternal..." But who decides what beauty means?! Who gets to live inside your dreams?! The weapon rises, the heavens cry! The final judgment lights the sky! [Final Chorus – Epic, Choir and Heavy Bass] WE ARE TEAM FLARE! Watch the crimson heavens shine! A perfect world by our design! WE ARE TEAM FLARE! Though our kingdom turns to dust, We believed our cause was just! For the glory! For the fame! All our dreams consumed by flame! WE ARE TEAM FLARE! Will the world recall our name?! A beautiful world in flames! [Outro – Slow, Eerie, Fading] The weapon sleeps... The red light dies... Another dream beneath Kalos skies... Our crimson suits... Our golden throne... A perfect world... Now overthrown... "Such a beautiful world..." "Such a terrible price..." "Team Flare... forever."
