the furnace

i'm dreaming again of burning men i tell my shrink and he said "i think that dream it represents a type of confidence" to heat your house before a vagrant burns it down he screams "make me go north boy i can't take the snow" so i'll drive him south before i burn him down i've dabbled with gasoline when i was fifteen for years i quit and now i relapsed with benzene they scream "make us go north girl we can't take the smoke" and then i cave and let them in but when the furnace is running [hook] tell me does this smell unwell? tell me have you heard the sound of that tumbling scream? they said when you hear it you might feel insane like there was only ever one cure for his pain 'twas six long winters i did ignore but not any more i was unsure but i'm told that's the smell of heating your home
