The Final Trumpet

[Spoken begins] There are 7 trumpets. Only 7. You feel good until the final call. Then, it’s too late for you. Don’t let it be Too Late [Spoken Ends] Everyone was walking around enjoying the day. I stood watching…. Knowing what was about to unfold. The sky split with lighting -without the rain. Oh, how I wish the rain would have fallen. I’d have given anything to feel that dampness in the air. Tension built, pressure in the atmosphere… No One could see, and kept on I tried to scream They couldn’t hear I tried to knock over things, They moved along I whispered in their ears, they dismissed for white noise Sky erupted again It’s happening soon All will be revealed The only rain, is my tears I cried over and over Knowing the outcome Seeing what comes after I’d do anything to prevent it The sky darkens mid day An aurora fills the skies One of my favorite views to witness on Earth I sit in awe…wondering, remembering the past Where free souls wandered in peace Heaven was harmonious We sang and glorified Yahweh Yahhhhwehhhh Our Lord, in all his Glory Here on earth Such a spectacular view The gateways have opened Like portals to heaven Glistening through the skies Like crushed pearls cascading down I drift….wandering, wondering, observing, dreaming, being Hearing Heaven’s sweet sounds Echoing through refracted lights Each particle falling in place as planned Every critical moment without ceasing “Wake up Angel, you have work to do!” I heard the call from above Looking around, thoughts danced in my head It didn’t have to come to this I’m certain when God created Earth and mankind This was not the ending He wanted Here we are though. Final steps No one that helps I have one job. Sound the final trumpet I am the final angel on earth The first one echoes through heaven and the universe I let out a guttural scream and tears stream The ground shakes I see the people Some a bit frantic, while others dismiss - continuing on-ignoring the sign They take this all for granted Moving blind through life I heard every trumpet -Each like a sonic boom through my soul Yes, an angel has a soul too Reverberating through the ethereal abyss The time has come. I’m shaken, sad, so alone in this Wailing, I placed my lips upon the final trumpet The final call, the last notes And blew Souls ascended while many remained Too many Like dust, they arose Heavens gates opened one last time I heard the unfathomable call to return I flew to join them As chaos begins on Earth Now dark
