THE LAST LAUGH

THE LAST LAUGH — UPDATED FULL SONG [CHORUS] The last laugh, it belongs to the King, Every plot falls flat, every chain loses sting. The last laugh — it sure does sting, ’Cause God strikes blows the devil can’t bring. [VERSE 1] They whispered their lies tryna trip my feet, Tried to flip my victory into their repeat defeat. But Heaven leaned in with a knowing grin, Saying, “Watch what I do and how this story ends.” [PRE-CHORUS] Darkness shakes when the righteous shout, What they meant for evil, God turns inside out. [CHORUS] The last laugh, it belongs to the King… Every plot falls flat, every chain loses sting. The last laugh — it sure does sting, ’Cause God strikes blows the devil can’t bring. [VERSE 2] The serpent hissed loud, but its teeth hit stone, The trap it dug deep became its own throne. I walked right through while the angels sang, ’Cause the Lion of Judah makes devils run lame. [PRE-CHORUS] Let the scoffers mock, let the wicked scheme, God breaks their plans like thunder in a dream. [CHORUS] The last laugh, it belongs to the King… Every plot falls flat, every chain loses sting. The last laugh — it sure does sting, ’Cause God strikes blows the devil can’t bring. [BRIDGE — stomp & shout] Who’s afraid now? Not the people of God. Who holds the story? The Almighty nods. Darkness collapses under Heaven’s staff— We stand in victory… we get the last laugh. [FINAL CHORUS] The last laugh, it belongs to the King— Chains breaking, hell shaking, Heaven’s choir sings. The last laugh — it sure does sting, ’Cause God strikes blows the devil can’t bring.
