ShadowStone

The dark stone inhales, It breathes on my back. Wild silver lines burst, Across the cold black. The mirror is open, reading my soul. I wake to the scan, Exposed to the night. The fear in my chest Brings wild, chaotic light. The truth must be spoken to quiet the storm. A compass of light Traces the stone! The true path appears Where seeds have been sown! I speak to the air Of nothingness ahead. The gray stone grows still, It’s wild fire dead. The shadow responds to the truth in the dark. A compass of light Traces the stone! The true path appears Where seeds have been sown! My right arm ignites With burning desire! A moonbeam appears, A soft glowing fire! I touch the pale mark, The stone leaves the root! It stands at my side To guide my own foot! No shadow was cast When living a lie. Light passed right through me Beneath the dark sky. I summon the stone, My shadow returns! The path is a choice, The truth finally burns!
