[Verse] Stumbling steps on a carpet of green Dewy whispers in the world between Eyes alight with the skybound dreams Clouds like elephants stitched at the seams [Chorus] Oh the air is alive with a fragrant plea Exotic plants calling Wild and free Above me they float Beasts in disguise Balloon-shaped wonders in alien skies [Verse 2] The meadow hums with a rhythm unknown Grass beneath whispers its ancient tone Each breath I take tastes sweet and strange A perfume that bends the rules of range [Chorus] Oh the air is alive with a fragrant plea Exotic plants calling Wild and free Above me they float Beasts in disguise Balloon-shaped wonders in alien skies [Bridge] Wind plays a tune that’s felt not heard Like voices lost within the absurd Leaves bow low The trees lean near A worldsong whispers Yet nothing is clear [Chorus] Oh the air is alive with a fragrant plea Exotic plants calling Wild and free Above me they float Beasts in disguise Balloon-shaped wonders in alien skies
