The Bell, The Sleigh And The Jolly Bean. Part Two
(Verse 1) Little Jasper wept a tiny tear, upon the frozen ground, The silence of the Christmas morn, was the most despairing sound. The Bean Stalk stood a monument, to happiness now lost, He feared the Shadow People's reign, no matter what the cost. (Chorus) But listen! Hark! A thrumming sound! Not quiet like the night, A distant, joyous jingle bell, and a glow of scarlet light! "It cannot be!" cried Jasper, but the sound grew strong and true, A jolly, booming laughter, a Ho-ho-ho-ing through! (Verse 2) Above the highest ivy vine, a sleigh of crimson hue, Pulled by eight strong flying beetles, with reindeer antlers, too! It swooped and spun and landed, with a mighty, gusty whoosh, And from it stepped a giant, with a coat of velvet plush! (Verse 3) A jolly, round old gentleman, with cheeks like winter roses, A beard of purest, frosty white, that covered up his nose-es. His eyes, they twinkled merrily, with a knowledge deep and wide, "I heard your plea, young Jasper! I've nowhere left to hide!" (Bridge) Santa Claus stood mighty tall, above the little bean, He checked his glowing, master-list, the shadow-thieves unseen. "They've taken joy! They've stolen light! They’ve tried to break the code! But fear not, tiny sprout, your gifts are on my road!" (Verse 4) He pulled a golden tuning fork, and struck a single note, A sound so pure and powerful, it seemed to cleanse the mote Of fear and darkness clinging, to the mighty Bean Stalk tall, It echoed through the forest, answering freedom's call! (Verse 5) The Shadow People shrieked and fled, their forms began to fade, The bright, pure light of Christmas joy, a powerful parade! They dropped the stolen treasures, the toys and candy canes, For light and goodness shatter, the darkness and the pains. (Chorus) Now the bells of Christmas morning, they chimed a joyful sound, The jolly Santa Claus had chased the shadows from the ground! For the presents all were sparkling, a glorious, festive sight, Restored by Claus, the gift-giver, and the magic of the light! (Outro) Jasper cheered and danced about, his fear now turned to bliss, He helped old Santa gather gifts, a tiny, grateful kiss Of thanks upon his velvet boot, before the sleigh took flight. "Merry Christmas, little sprout! And to all, a good, bright light!"
