Yeah — religion built walls, grace tore ‘em down, They built thrones, grace flipped the crown. They chained souls, grace broke ‘em out, They preached fear, grace whispered loud. Religion said, “Try harder, son,” Grace said, “It’s finished — I’ve already won.” They push guilt — I push the One, Who died for all — not just some. They love control, I love the cross, They count works, I count the loss. They sell God like He’s a boss, But grace don’t charge — it covers cost. They said, “Follow rule or perish quick,” I said, “Grace runs deeper — pick.” You can’t tame love — it ain’t slick, It’s scandalous, raw, and cosmic thick. Religion made God seem far, Grace said, “He lives where sinners are.” They hid the wounds, grace showed the scar, They wrote in pen, grace carved in star. They wanna sell you worth and peace, Grace said, “You can rest, just cease.” They make you beg for guilt’s release, Grace made guilt’s whole line deceased. They gatekeep heaven — grace got keys, They charge for faith — grace frees with ease. They call my faith too cheap — please, Grace cost God His blood-soaked knees. They hate that mercy ain’t for sale, They hate redemption don’t need scale. They hate that pride will always fail, When grace walks in — it tips the veil. Grace don’t need your tithes to work, It heals the sinner, not the clerk. Religion flex, it loves to smirk, But grace don’t care for human perk. They teach you debt, grace says “done.” They weaponize what love begun. Religion points — grace pulls the gun, Shoots shame dead — salvation won. Yeah, they dress up pride in robes, They preach control with sacred codes. They fake humility in droves, While grace walks barefoot down their roads. Religion’s logic says, “Deserve,” Grace says, “Receive — I’ll serve.” Religion plots — grace will swerve, And crown the least they thought absurd. You can’t earn what’s freely poured, You can’t trade blood for man’s reward. They say “Good works,” grace says “Lord,” Religion binds, grace wields the sword. They fear what mercy can undo, They hate what freedom dares pursue. ‘Cause grace don’t fit their churchy pew, It moves through hearts — it makes men new. Religion keeps you halfway free, Grace splits your chains completely. Religion says, “Climb up and see,” Grace says, “He came down to me.” They hide behind theology, Grace breaks hypocrisy’s decree. They quote laws — I quote “He,” Who took the nails for you and me. Grace over religion, it’s war declared, False priests tremble — I’m unscared. They brand me “heretic,” I’m prepared, Grace is scandal — but Heaven’s shared. Religion needs man’s works to stand, Grace stands tall by nail-pierced hand. Religion falls by shifting sand, Grace is kingdom — unplanned, unmanned. So keep your systems, keep your pride, Keep your walls and rules and guide. Grace don’t fit — it won’t abide, It found me dead — then made me alive. Yeah, they mad ‘cause grace don’t ask, It moves past mask, completes the task. Religion dies, I break the flask, And pour out grace — that’s Heaven’s gas.
