Part of the shift is the moments from what was to what is to come. You cannot decipher where the thoughts come from. Yet, there they are. Fighting for good where fear and dread consumed you. You pack up your car and go. Taking memories that matter most with you. Open the door Climb in Exhale One more look back.... Now drive... There's an excitement for the unknown. Any of it is better than where you were.... Even though you had the best. A song over the radio blasts and you catch yourself laughing out loud. Tears fall and your feel guilty over a moment of pure joy. Looking at the Heavens asking permission for relief and forgiveness at the same time. It's this..... Part of the shift is the moments from what was to what is to come. Drive on.... See changes through the rearview-each road sign a new beginning surpassed. That's not your destination. Leave it back there. Those are the pieces of you the road gets to claim. Drive on... Let it go... Asphalt or Concrete, it'll eat each escaping thought. Washed away by God's next rain. Leave it behind you. Drive on Friend. Your eyes widen and mind explodes with every turn, every new place you pass. You wonder, is this it? Drive through. Nothing keeping you grounded yet, but a prayer and Yahweh. He's all you need, all through the day. Part of the shift is the moment from what was to what is to come.... When will it arrive? You contemplate significance over drive. The drive to somewhere over nowhere. Each delay through roadblocks reminding you to breathe. You are important too.... Until you find the place you'll call home-on earth, you choose to enjoy the ride. Leaving behind a tear here and there-knowing the pieces of your heart will heal while others remain where they belong. For now, love the ride. Feel safe and comforted. Seen wisdom and peace from Yahweh Yahweh... Who has you, holds you, and settles your soul. Drive on Friend Drive on and remember.... Part of the shift...is temporary. You will surpass this. Calmly, you fill the tank again. Looking up to the sky, capturing the moment. (Between the shift) Now get back in and drive. The only one who knows your destination is Yahweh.... He'll let you know where to stop and begin anew. God Bless your travels, Your thoughts, Your memories, Your life. Your gentle kindness returned to you. Drive on Friend. Write on Write on
