I met you in a meadow Where twilight kissed the leaves As light passed through your shadow You looked right at me There were sparkles of dusk All around your frame And when I breathed in I felt the sounds of you We shared a room of flowers Of leaves and splintered sprigs Soft calls turned into bellows I let your ocean sing A tree grows in the garden Strong, and full of fruit I’ll meet you in its willows That’s where I’ll hold you
