Memories of the Ring

One Ring rules all One Ring finds all One Ring captures all And binds them in darkness In the shadowy land of Mordor I rented a video from Jugem It seems to be a double feature I wonder what kind of movie it is Wow, the visuals are amazing The little dwarves are so cute The main character, Frodo, is a spoiled brat The wizard Gandalf is a wise man I wish I could live in a countryside like that In the caves of Moria, Gandalf The Witch-King Confronting the Balrog To protect his companions "Go, you fool!" After he fell into the abyss of darkness The scenery as the group emerged from the cave How beautiful the sky and mountains were I saw that clear sky in the dark room where I was holed up It's clearly burned into my memory Along with Frodo's tears Then to the forest of Lothlórien Boromir feels guilty at the sight of Lady Galadriel's mind's eye Receiving treasure from the elves Going down the great river in a small boat Ambush by orcs on a hilltop Magic Boromir, stabbed by Frodo, tries to take the ring from him, but quickly comes to his senses and laments his mistake. Aragorn places the ring in Frodo's hand as he flees. With the holy sword Andúril in hand, he faces the army of Orcs alone, calling out the name of his ancestors, "Erendil! Erendil!" A reformed Boromir leaps in where the Hobbits are under attack, saving them from the clutches of the Orcs at the last moment. He single-handedly takes down many of them, but the Orc leader with a bow and arrow... Shot through the heart, he stood tall like Benkei, meeting a brave and tragic end. He apologized to Aragorn, entrusting him with the capital city, and breathed his last, uttering, "Long live my lord, my king!" The king kissed his forehead, and a single tear rolled down his cheek. I will never forget this sight. Proud King Théoden, I loved him dearly. Deceived by the Serpent's Tongue and Saruman, he lost his sanity, but was saved by his companions. After awakening, he pushed his aging body to its limits, working with lion-like ferocity, upholding his loyalty to Gondor. Setting out with Aragorn "Advance! Son of Eorl!" The Rohan army arrives just as the royal castle, besieged by Orcs, is about to fall. Theoden inspires his cavalry, simply roaring, "Death!" The soldiers' morale soars, the horns are blown, and they charge, scattering the Orcs to smithereens. But the Witch-King of Angmar descends, riding a Nazgûl and pounceing on him. In this desperate situation, his niece, Eowyn, armed despite being a woman, shields her king from the Witch-King. Standing before them The Witch-King is a man no human man can kill He falls to the sword of Eowyn, a woman Theoden tells his niece "Now you can go to your proud ancestors" Their noble figures bring tears to my eyes Before the Black Gate, facing a massive army of Orcs, The new King Aragorn gives a command to his army "The end of the world may come. But not now. Now is the time to fight!" Every man would tremble Finally, there are Sam and Gollum They are contrasting figures Mordor On Mount Doom, as Frodo was on his last legs, Gollum shouted, "I cannot carry your burden, but I can carry you!" and carried his master up the cliff. At the edge of the cliff, Frodo succumbed to his own weakness. Gollum snatched the ring and fell into the lava with him. Perhaps he too was God's will, Ilúvatar's will. I can never forget the indescribable expression on Frodo's face when he saw Sam for the last time. True relationships need no words. The movie I saw in middle school is still etched in my memory. The rest is my guiding principle Have I truly become a fine person like the heroes Or am I actually just a Gulli I ask myself I know I'm not a saint At the very least, I want to be like Theoden and Boromir who fell once but rose again I want to fight desperately to the very end The One Ring protects all The One Ring forgives all The One Ring saves all And brings them into the light In the glorious land of Valinor
