[Verse 1] The Board of Understanding met To understand what wasn’t yet. They understood the misunderstanding, Found it perfectly outstanding. Then they filed an understanding Of the understanding’s standing, Which was later re-reviewed By the Committee [Chorus] Understand, misunderstand Re-understand on my command If you’ve understood, that’s misunderstood Please stand by while we understand Understand, misunderstand Re-understand on my command If you’ve understood, that’s misunderstood Please stand by while we understand [Verse 2] That Concluded That the Board had understood Exactly what they always should. But just in case you’d understood, They wished you hadn’t understood. [Pre-Chorus] In quantum understanding Every fact exists in two states Understood And misunderstood Observation collapses the misunderstanding Into an understanding Unless someone from Compliance observes first Then it waits [Chorus] Understand, misunderstand Re-understand on my command If you’ve understood, that’s misunderstood Please stand by while we understand Understand, misunderstand Re-understand on my command If you’ve understood, that’s misunderstood Please stand by while we understand [Bridge] In quantum understanding Every fact is wearing a badge One says yes One says maybe One says send it back to the Board [Final Chorus] Understand, misunderstand Re-understand on my command If you’ve understood, that’s misunderstood Please stand by while we understand Understand, misunderstand Re-understand on my command If you’ve understood, that’s misunderstood Please stand by while we understand
